About Us
HISTORY
In 2004 Old St. Mary’s School opened its doors to its first preschool class of 18 children. Today we are proud to serve over 500 students in preschool through eighth grade. Located in the
vibrant South Loop, Old St. Mary’s offers a rigorous academic and faith-based education in a neighborhood school setting.
MISSION
Old St. Mary’s School, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Chicago and reflective of the Paulist Mission, is committed to prepare students to be productive, responsible and impactful members of the world community.
COMMUNITY
The mission of the Paulist Fathers is to treat all
people with dignity, justice, and respect.
At Old St. Mary’s School, we embrace diversity
of backgrounds and ideas: All are welcome!
SERVICE
Instilling a commitment to serve the community is integral to our mission at Old Saint Mary’s School. Every classroom participates in service projects. Families and parishioners are encouraged to get involved by donating items such as food, books, coats and clothing to benefit our neighbors in need. A dynamic Social Justice Committee meets regularly to research and organize service projects, including volunteer trips to local food pantries,
nursing homes, and parishes.
